- FITS GENESIS 2 AND 3, NOT GENESIS 1: The console end of this cable is the small round 9-pin plug used for Sega Genesis Model 2 and Model 3, and the same port is used for Mega Drive, for 32X, for CDX and for Nomad. The original Genesis 1 takes a different and larger connector, so look at the port on the back of your console before you order.
